Phase one of this project was to design a new drive, entrance and planting scheme that sympathetically reflected the contemporary style of this extensively remodelled property.
The challenge in this long but narrow space was to introduce a dynamic footprint whilst ensuring turning circles and parking spaces were sufficiant for the 3 vehicles stipulated.
DIG introduced an angled drive with inset parking spaces and linear paving to accentuate the central entrance to the property. Rendered walls linked the garden style to the property.
Simple block planting of clipped box, hydrangea annabelle and soft miscanthus grass echoed the contemporary style and softened the extent of hard landscaping.
For phase two more complex drifts of prairie style planting were introduced along the new rear sawn edge slate paved patio to give more vibrant seasonal interst.
